Darklord Day

Story

Darklord Day is an RPG where you take on the role of a hero trying to stop the Darklord Azel from destroying the world. The hero finds his/herself trapped in a time loop on the last day before the apocalypse and must race against the clock to defeat Azel before the day ends to break the loop.

How to Play

Controls

MOVE: Arrow Keys

SPRINT: Hold Shift

INTERACT/SELECT: Enter

OPEN MENU/CANCEL/CLOSE NEW MERCENARY STATUS: Escape

The Time Loop

If the countdown to the end of the world runs out, or the party is defeated in battle, the world will reset back to the beginning of the time loop. After a short cutscene, the player will wake up back at the inn where they started the game.

Resetting the time loop will resurrect any bosses that the player had defeated in the previous cycle and set the time of day back to morning. However, the player will get to keep any levels, experience, gold, equipment and mercenaries they acquired during the previous cycle(s).
